A Tale Of Two Birds
In the forest, a bird lived with her two children by making a nest on a tall banyan tree. One day a storm came and that banyan tree fell. The bird died by pressing against the tree. But luckily both her children survived.
The strong wind blew away a baby bird and took it to a cave where bandits used to live. The second child of the bird fell near the hermitage of the sages. Time passed and both the children started growing up.
Many months had passed. One day a king came to hunt in the forest and lost his way. He was very tired. At one place he stopped his horse and sat down to rest under the shade of a tree. There was a cave near where he was resting.
The king had just closed his eyes when the bird sitting on the tree under which he was resting said, “Come soon… come soon… this man has a lot of ornaments. Kill it by slitting its throat and loot it."
The king was surprised to hear this. Then he felt some sound inside the cave. Sensing the danger, he galloped his horse and went away from there.
That horse was tired of running. He sat down under a tree to rest. An ashram was visible nearby. As soon as he sat under it, the bird sitting on a branch of the tree said, “Rajan, you are welcome. There is no one in the ashram at this time. Rishi has gone out. But you go inside and rest. Rishi will be coming in some time.
The king raised his head and saw the bird, it was looking exactly like the previous bird. After listening to the bird, the king went inside the ashram. After some time the sage returned to the ashram. The king bowed down to him.
The sage arranged food and water for the king. After resting for some time, the king was about to go, so he asked the sage a question that was burning in his mind, “Guruvar, there is a bird like bird on the tree in front of your ashram. I saw exactly the same bird on a tree near a cave located some distance away. But there was a lot of difference between the dialects of both. I am surprised that even after being the same bird, there is so much difference between the two?
"Rajan! They were both born from the same bird and got separated in a storm. She grew up in their company near a bandit's cave and learned their dialect. We grew up in the company of sages and learned our dialect. Everything is compatible game.
